Eugene Horse Auction's TACK auction. Our tack auction will be held as an Online Only Tack Auction. Tack lots will start to close at 6pm on May 9th. The first lot will start to close at 6pm. Every 30 seconds a new lot will start to close. If a bid is placed in the last 2 minutes it will extend the bidding an additional 2 minutes.
Auction Terms & Conditions Auction Terms & Conditions REGISTRATION & BID NUMBER ACCEPTANCE: By registering and accepting a bid number online, the bidder acknowledges they have read, understand and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of Auction posted online in this document. ONLINE BIDDERS: When you register for a bidder number you will be required to provide your credit card number. Your credit card number will be retained and charged for your purchase if payment is not made by May 10th, 2020 at close of horse auction for tack purchases. By clicking the accept button online, you enter into a binding legal agreement with Eugene Horse Auction. Eugene Horse Auction is providing Internet online bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that internet and/or phone service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Eugene Horse Auction or anyone else if their Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. The auction will have a staggered and soft close. Soft close is set at 2 minutes. START AND CLOSE: BIDDING OPENS: 6 PM (PST) Monday, May 4th, 2020. BIDDING STARTS TO CLOSE: 6 PM (PST) Saturday, May 9th, 2020. Lots will have a "STAGGERED" and "SOFT CLOSE". You will be notified by email invoice if you are the winning bidder. Email invoices will start to be sent as soon as the Auction closes. What is a "STAGGERED CLOSE"? The lots do not close all at the same time. Lots will have a staggered closing using a mixed sequence. Follow the clock to the right of each lot to know the exact closing time of a particular lot. What is a "SOFT CLOSE"?? If a bid is submitted and confirmed during the last 2 minutes before closing, then the time will be extended on that lot by 2 minutes. This will continue until a full 2 minutes pass without a new bid on that lot. MINIMUM BID INCREMENTS: Up to $99.99 Increment is $2.50 $100.00-$999.99 Increment is $5.00 $1000 and Above Increment is $10.00 GENERAL TERMS OF AUCTION: It is the bidder's responsibility to preview and inspect the items prior to bidding/buying and determine the condition of the item they are bidding on. All articles of merchandise are offered "As Is, Where Is" by lot, individually or in groups as described in the online catalog. Multiple photos have been posted of each lot, in order to show the most accurate condition. Any chips, cracks, or blemishes have been photographed and posted to the best of our knowledge. No claim will be considered for allowance adjustment or rescission of any sale based upon the failure of the property to correspond to any particular standards or expectations of the buyer. It is important that the buyer avail themselves of the inspection periods. All items sold "AS IS" meaning the bidder is responsible for due diligence in inspecting all items. Eugene Horse Auction will pass on any information, good or bad, that the seller gives to us in describing the items. However, it is up to buyer to determine the condition of the item they are bidding on. All sales are final. When a bidder is awarded the winning bid on an item, that bidder instantly becomes the new owner of that item and is completely responsible for that item. EUGENE HORSE AUCTION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW OR RE-CATALOG ITEMS IN THIS AUCTION. PAYMENT: Payment in full is due before items are picked up. Purchases cannot be removed from the auction site until paid for in full. There is an additional 3% fee to use any card. Payments accepted are credit/debit card and cash. CREDIT CARD PURCHASES: An additional 3% processing fee will be charged. We accept: Visa, Master Card and Discover. REMOVAL OF ITEMS/SHIPPING & HOLD HARMLESS: The buyer is solely responsible for removal and shipping of their own purchases. Items may be picked up on Sunday May 10th, 9am-Close of Horse Auction. SHIPPING is available at BUYER'S expense. Shipping charges include all package materials. HOLD HARMLESS: The purchaser hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Eugene Horse Auction and the seller, against any and all liability, loss, costs, damages and other expenses arising from loading out of items by Eugene Horse Auction on the purchaser's behalf. Payment Terms
All purchases will be charged to the card you register with on Monday Morning, May 11th, unless you call and let us know you would prefer to pay with cash when you pick up your items. All credit card transactions will be charged a 3% surcharge.
Click on link in you invoice e-mail to sign up for a date and time between Monday May 11th- Friday May 15th 8am-5pm. We have to limit the amount of people at our office at a time to allow for ample social distancing.
